As Congress heads back into session this week, one topic will be on the minds of our elected officials: the crisis in Syria. As many are most surely familiar with, the Obama administration’s self-imposed “red line” on Syrian use of chemical weapons has brought the United States to the brink of exercising its full military capability.

The President’s support for intervention in Syria is being met with stiff opposition in both chambers of Congress and the American people.

The President is scheduled to make a rare primetime Oval Office address tonight, Tuesday, at 9 PM Eastern Standard Time.
