Some of the hottest new Apps are Faith Apps and they’re integrating AI, as if you’re talking to a counselor or pastor. One AI App called ChatWithGod.ai God is downright creepy. According to one user interaction reported by the New York Times said: “Greetings, my child. The future is in God’s merciful hands. Do you trust in His divine plan?” While apps and AI might help us gain knowledge about the Bible, it can never take the place of actual counseling by a pastor, fellowship in a church service, or personally spending time in the Bible. Farming out Biblical community to AI can only result in shriveled souls, render less understanding about God, and makes us less human in the end.
