The “Make Gen Z Anti-Abortion” tour stopped at the University of Kentucky last week. It was hosted by a student group called the Pro-Life Wildcats. Tour leader Lydia Taylor-Davis described her journey from being pro-choice to pro-life while students paused to listen and engage her. Some critics argued political causes don’t belong in academic spaces. Others say that college campuses are precisely where these conversations belong. After all, abortion is literally a life and death issue. Human sexuality and procreation is a profound moral and political question that every person should carefully consider. The tour emphasized persuasion instead of protest. And it’s clear that if a sanctity of life ethic is to be restored, it must begin among young people who will shape families and institutions.
