Pres. Donald Trump addressed a joint session of Congress in what analysts on both sides of the political spectrum say was his best speech since becoming president. Interestingly, Pres. Trump mentioned Kentucky Gov. Matt Bevin for his work to replace the Affordable Care Act. After the president's speech, former Kentucky Gov. Steve Beshear delivered the democrat response. Perhaps Kentucky is a microcosm of major political shift that is happening nationally. An incredibly conservative governor replaced a very liberal one. And this is reflected by the kinds of policies that are being enacted. In the midst of the political shift and despite the partisan divide, Pres. Trump reminded us that "We are one people, with one destiny. We all bleed the same blood. We all salute the same flag, And we are all made by the same God."
