A documentary in England argues that the difference between boys and girls is taught by society. The documentary by the BBC is called No More Boys and Girls. Now there's a campaign in the UK called “Let Toys Be Toys” and the purpose is to promote books and toys that reverse gender stereotypes. According to the Let Toys be Toys campaign, if girls were given toy guns and GI Joes they'd be more likely to act like boys. And if boys were given Barbies and kitchen play sets they'd act more like girls. Of course, we know that boys and girls are hardwired differently. All the academic theories and social engineering won't change basic biological truths that boys and girls are created that way, by the Creator. And these differences are something to be accepted and appreciated and not changed.
