Kentucky voters will go to the polls tomorrow when early voting begins. There are many offices on the ballot ranging from city council to U.S. Senator. One of the most consequential issues is Amendment #2 which says that there’s no right to abortion in the Kentucky Constitution and that tax dollars shouldn’t be used for abortion. Voting may be an inconvenience but this is a small price to pay considering the alternative: which is unaccountable government. Our freedom of self-government is a gift. And if we’re going to maintain this gift of freedom, we need to get out and vote. So please plan to vote tomorrow.
