State Rep. Nancy Tate (R-Brandenburg) has proposed a pro-life omnibus bill for the next legislative session. She says abortion is “one of the realities that we need to address in our commonwealth of Kentucky.” This bill includes regulations on the disposal of fetal remains, abortion reporting requirements, public funding for abortion, and medical conscience protections. President of Kentucky Right to Life Addia Wuchner said this bill reflects good healthcare (and) good medicine.” The fight to protect the life of all children continues in Kentucky, even as Roe v. Wade could be overturned by the Supreme Court. If overturned, states would still need to pass laws to protect and promote the lives of the unborn. And this bill certainly puts Kentucky on the right path to restore a culture of life.
