The U.S. Supreme Court is expected to rule on marriage any day now. As we've explained on numerous occassions, man/woman marriage is a pre-political institution. It is the most basic human relationship. It is a pillar to society. Should the pillar be weakened in any way, society will feel the reverberations. Here are a few impacts for individuals and institutions adhering to the belief that marriage is between one man and one woman:

Nonprofit status will be attacked
Accreditation of Christian schools revoked
Federal student loans at Christian schools ended
Parents will have no say in what their kids are taught in public school
Faith-based adoption agencies forced out of business
Christian business owners, particularly those who cater to wedding industry, will be sued for discrimination
Churches that open up their facilities to outside groups will be sued to permit gay weddings
County clerks and other government workers may lose their jobs
Marriage certificates and birth certificates will no longer recognize gender

These are not overstaments. They are already realities in states that have already legalized gay marriage.
