One of the top conservative TV commentators in the country is no longer on the air. Yesterday, Fox News fired Bill O’Reilly who hosted the most popular cable commentary program—The O'Reilly Factor. O'Reilly was ousted after a long pattern of sexual harassment was revealed. Five women settled with O'Reilly for a combined $13 million. This revelation led to 50 advertisers abandoning the show and left Fox with no choice but to fire O'Reilly who famously battled political correctness. This is the second major sexual harassment scandal since last year when Fox News’s chairman, Roger Ailes was also fired.  It should go without saying that harassing women is not a conservative thing to do. And if Fox hopes to maintain its credibility as a conduit of conservatism, it must work to establish a culture of respect toward women.
