Do you believe in miracles? Magoffin County residents in the mountains of Eastern Kentucky do. A two-year old boy went missing from his parents home on Mother's Day when neighbors and the county rescue team began searching for him. It didn't seem likely that they'd find 22-month Kenneth Howard alive after searching all day after he disappeared. The searches persisted and after nearly three days of searching he was found alive curled up on the edge of a cliff in a heavily wooded area of the Floyd-Magoffin County line. It was heartening to see so many come together to support the family and look for the lost and vulnerable toddler. It was community coming together and an answer to many prayers. God still works miracles.
