The pro-life movement received another victory as a Texas law was upheld in a recent Federal Court of Appeals case. The law banned a method called D&E, an abortion procedure commonly used in the second trimester. Doctors who violated this law would face up to two years in prison. A lower court found the law unduly burdened a woman’s so-called right to abortion. Thankfully, the Fifth Circuit found this ruling had erred and reversed it. The pro-life movement at the state-level is seeing great success. 61 pro-life bills have been signed into law across the nation just this year! And the Supreme Court is scheduled to hear a Mississippi case that seeks to overturn Roe v. Wade, a decision that many have all been waiting for.
