(Frankfort, KY) – The Commonwealth Policy Center opposes the ACLU’s lawsuit to overturn Kentucky’s strong protection of unborn life.

Their lawsuit claims that Kentucky’s abortion ban violates a woman’s rights to privacy and self-determination. The plaintiff fails to justify a right to abortion. Emotional burden to continue a pregnancy does not trump the right of an unborn child’s life. CPC is calling on Kentucky’s legal officers and judiciary to uphold the hard-fought legal protections for the unborn in the Commonwealth.
