There are some troubling trends in higher education. According to a survey by the American Psychological Association, Nearly one in four college students take psychotropic medication. And up to 44% of college students having symptoms of depression and anxiety. Males are dropping out of college and only make up about 41 percent of the college population today, which is an all time low. And male enrollment decreased at community colleges has been nearly 19 percent over the past couple of years. Overall enrollment is down over seven percent in the last two years. So why these troubling trends? Covid disruption has contributed to decline in mental health. But so has the educational climate of universities where anti-free speech, religious discrimination, and liberal activism have driven away conservatives. Until Universities work to restore balance, trends in decline in enrollment will likely continue.
