Three buses dropped off more than 100 illegal immigrants near Vice President Kamala Harris’ home on Christmas Eve. This is the latest in a series of transports issued by Texas Governor Greg Abbot to send illegal immigrants to “sanctuary cities” that are run by Democrats. Of course, illegal immigration is a serious issue and a grave concern to our national security, but should illegal immigrants be used as pawns to make a point? These illegals were dropped off in Washington D.C., wearing shorts and t-shirts in below-freezing temperatures. If they weren’t met with volunteers who gave them food and warmer clothes, they would have frozen to death. Democratic officials need to take the border crisis seriously, but we need to be reminded that these illegal immigrants are people, not political props.
