The Louisville Courier-Journal ran a story with the headline "Mike Pence's wife takes job at school that bans gay student's." The problem is that the story isn't true. The school does no such thing. However, it does expect its students and staff to abide by moral boundaries and ethical requirements and this includes sexual ethics which is much broader than just homosexuality. At best this piece by the Louisville Courier-Journal is ill-informed. At worst it's a hit piece meant to discredit the Vice-president's wife Karen Pence. In either case, it's unbalanced, partisan journalism. It also neglects the idea of religious freedom where institutions like Christian schools can govern themselves according to standards in line with their religious beliefs.
