Have you ever gotten the feeling that Christmas has become something that it was never meant to be? I mean the push to buy more and more, bigger and better, and competition to out give others?  We now have special days that revolve around buying: Black Friday, Small Business Saturday, and Cyber Monday. Consumerism has crowded out the reason of why we give gifts in the first place. Now, there's nothing wrong with gifts, but when we lose sight of the real meaning of Christmas, then it's time to reassess. Of course, Christmas is the time to celebrate God's greatest gift to us—his son Jesus Christ, who is the savior of the world and the Redeemer of mankind. So when you gather around the tree and exchange gifts this year, remember the One who is behind this tradition.
