U of L basketball coach Rick Pitino was suspended for five games this season as punishment for the scandal involving his basketball recruits. One of Pitino's assistant's hired strippers and prostitutes to lure new recruits to play for U of L. Pitino also allowed ineligible players to play. As a result, the NCAA is reducing the number of basketball scholarships, vacating victories, and putting the basketball program on probation for four years. Pitino says the punishment is unfair, and that "It's to the point that it's not even conceivable,…"  But he should have thought about that before allowing his program to become corrupted. Ultimately, the head coach is responsible and we're learning that no matter how powerful the coach or prestigious the program there are consequences to your actions.
