Today is primary election day in Kentucky. Voters will go to the polls to vote for candidates vying for elected offices on the ballot. All Kentucky House seats and half of the Kentucky Senate seats are on the ballot, with many contested primaries. There are also numerous local races and primaries in some congressional districts. Secretary of State Michael Adams projected turnout could be as low as 15 percent. If this is the case, your vote represents at least 5 other voters who decide not to vote. CPC has more information about the candidates at commonwealthpolicycenter.org. After learning about the candidates, make sure you get out and vote. The polls are open from 6 AM to 6 PM.
