The 2024 Kentucky General Assembly was a win for the protection of Kentucky’s children. Multiple bills were introduced which addressed the crisis of both child abuse and underage exposure to explicit material. There was a ban on child sex dolls and enhanced penalties for child porn. A far reaching bill (HB 278) requires age verification for pornographic websites and increases penalties for abusers. Because of this law, adult websites like Pornhub are expected to leave the state. And to that I say good riddance. Child pornography and other abusive material are available on this site, but that won’t be the case much longer. Because of the Kentucky General Assembly and their efforts, Kentucky’s children are much safer today.
