Twitter’s new owner Elon Musk released bombshell documents, which revealed that Twitter has been shadow-banning and suppressing conservative accounts. Twitter limited the visibility of certain tweets from popular Conservative accounts and prevented certain topics from trending. This was done without those accounts knowing about it. And when these account holders complained about the lack of visibility of their tweets, they were called conspiracy theorists. We now know they were right all along. Society flourishes when media platforms are honest, and citizens and the press can freely speak the truth and share their opinions. Musk purchased Twitter because he was concerned about free speech. Of course, we should all be just as concerned so that we work as good citizens to maintain it.
