President Donald Trump signed several executive orders on his first day in office. He declared the southern border a national emergency, and withdrew the US from the Paris climate agreements. Trump recognized male and female as the only two sexes recognized in federal law. He also ended discriminatory DEI programs, and fired all DEI executives in the federal government. Trump also set up a task force to investigate collusion between social media and government officials to stifle speech and sway federal elections. These orders push back against intrusive, irresponsible and sometimes illegal federal activity. Several orders reaffirmed first amendment freedoms, and prioritized our safety and independence that benefits all Americans.
