Investigative committees in the United States Senate and House have returned reports concerning the summer 2015 undercover videos by the Center for Medical Progress and allegations that Planned Parenthood sold baby body parts.  The results reveal the grisly activity by Planned Parenthood and accusations that laws have been broken.  The reports total more than 500 pages.

Here’s one example from the House's Energy and Commerce committee's report describing how Planned Parenthood sold baby body parts: In June 2014 Planned Parenthood sold the 20-week-old body of a baby to Advanced Bioscience Research (ABR) for $60.  ABR took the baby and within hours sold parts of it to five different customers.  They sold the brain for $325 to one customer, the eyes for $650 to another customer, a portion of the liver for $325 to a third customer, the thymus and another portion of the liver to a fourth customer for $625, and the baby’s lungs for $325 to a fifth customer.  ABR received a total of $2,275 for the baby’s body parts.

The Committee suggested this sale, and others like it, violated the 1993 NIH Revitalization Act that prohibits the sale of fetal tissue.  The House Committee recommended the Justice Department fully investigate the Planned Parenthood Federation of America; the individual Planned Parenthood affiliates involved; Advance Bioscience Research, Inc.; Stemexpress, LLC; and Novogenix Laboratories, LLC.  Read the entire report here.
