The photos from the Webb telescope are absolutely amazing. Scientists are speaking of the pictures they saw in near-spiritual terms. NASA senior Webb scientist John Mather and a Nobel laureate said after the reveal, “It’s the beauty but also the story. It’s the story of where did we come from.” NASA Administrator Bill Nelson said, “Every image is a new discovery and each will give humanity a view of the humanity that we’ve never seen before.” CNN Analyst Miles O’Brien described one of the photos said ‘I’m a little verklempt’: It’s stunning, it’s beautiful.” Both the scientific and religious communities are both in awe of the wonders of creation. However, it’s the religious community that has a better answer as to where it all came from. Psalm 19:1 says, “The heavens declare the glory of God, and the sky above proclaims his handiwork.”
