Senator Lindsey Graham (R-SC) recently introduced a bill that would ban abortion after 15 weeks. Instead of this being a bipartisan effort, Democrats oppose the bill. But it isn’t getting the kind of support you’d expect from Republicans. Many Congressmen in both parties believe the abortion issue is something that should be decided at the state level. Some even believe this bill will hurt the Republican candidates in November. Whatever the concern may be, the issue at hand involves the most vulnerable human life and whether they should be a protected class. The Supreme Court defederalized the issue with its Dobbs ruling. But abortion extremists are pushing for laws that remove all restrictions and allow abortions up until birth, which is something that a majority of Americans oppose.
