Forty-eight years ago the U.S. Supreme Court legalized the killing of babies in the womb. As a result, over 60 million unborn children have been aborted. This is the equivalent of the entire population of Italy. It’s clear that we’ve embraced a low view of human life and there are real-life consequences for it. For this reason, Clark County Judge-Executive Chris Pace has declared a Sanctity of Human life Day in Clark County. The resolution says If a “society does not value life, all life,” then society “has little value of its own.” The action of Clark County’s local government reminds us of all the lives that have been lost, encourages us to pray, and celebrates the sanctity of all human life.
