What if I told you that you have tremendous influence over the direction of our government. What if you could pick and choose your leaders? Well, you do. It's called voting, and the deadline to register to vote is coming up soon. If you're not yet registered and will be at least 18 years old before the General Election, or if you've recently moved, then you need to register at your county clerk's office or go online to GoVoteKY.com. The deadline is April 23. Consider that only 20 percent of registered voters voted in the last primary election. This means that a small group of voters had a big impact. If we want a strong government, we need to participate. Get registered by April 23 and then make sure you vote in May.
