It seems that pro-life legislation comes up every legislative session and this one is no different. One bill modifies the recently enacted Ultrasound law to require abortionists to provide a written medical description of sonogram images an unborn child prior to an abortion. The other bill addresses chemical abortions. Increasingly, more abortions are done through pills. However it’s a two-step process involving pills taken over several days. If the woman decides she doesn't want the abortion after taking the first pill, the process can be reversed—but she needs to be told. And this is something abortionists are reluctant to do. HB 104 requires abortionists to disclose this information. After all, we all change our minds at times. So why not afford women in crisis pregnancies the choice to change their minds too?
