Today is primary election day in Kentucky! Since it’s not a presidential year, political hype has been mild and turnout is expected to be low. In fact,  Secretary of State Michael Adams is confident turnout will be less than 30%. However, there are many important primaries on the ballot from city council and fiscal court to Congressional races. And many of these races will be decided in the primary. It matters that we put capable and honest people into office, so if you haven’t voted yet, there’s still time. Get out there and exercise your citizenship responsibility and vote. If you need more information about the candidates, go the CPC website–commonwealthpolicycenter.org. The polls are open until 6 pm.
