Kentuckians voted in Andy Beshear for another four years as governor of the state. It was a hard fought race which leaves Kentucky deeply divided, largely between rural and urban. Beshear won 29 counties, while Cameron won 91. There’s a temptation to be bitter at the election results. But don’t. For Christians they’re told to pray and intercede for all people and for kings and all those in authority over them. This applies to believers today. We’re also told that the kings heart is in God’s hand. Christians they are called to live at peace. It doesn’t mean they compromise righteousness, but they work towards it regardless of the situation or the leaders who govern. May you prayed that end.
