Have you ever wondered who’s funding those scare ads to mislead Kentucky voters about the pro-life Amendment #2? According to the Kentucky Registry of Election Finance, much of the money is coming from out of state. Former New York Mayor Michael Bloomberg donated $250,000. The ACLU of New York donated 50,000, and a group called move Movement Voter PAC from Massachusetts donated $75,000 —all to defeat Kentucky constitutional amendment #2, which would keep Kentucky state judges from finding a right to abortion in the state constitution. The Amendment also stops your tax dollars from funding abortions in the Commonwealth. It’s a commonsense Amendment—one that most Kentuckians will likely support, so long as they can cut through the misleading advertising funded by out-of-state interests.
Ballot text: Are you in favor of amending the Constitution of Kentucky by creating a new Section of the Constitution to be numbered Section 26A to state as follows: To protect human life, nothing in this Constitution shall be construed to secure or protect a right to abortion or require the funding of abortion?
I am in favor of voting YES for amendment 2. Abortion is the murder of a helpless baby, unless it is to protect the life of the mother. If a pregnant mother is killed, the offender can be charged with 2 counts of murder, why then should a pregnant mother be able to kill her baby in the woumb for her convenience , Killing our babies and fentinol crossing our borders is killing our young teens
