When LGBT activism started gaining traction, conservatives denounced it for a variety of reasons. They said that once you approve of same-sex relationships, you will then allow for polyamorous relationships and other immoral relationships. With each cultural trend, conservative points were shown to be true. Now, there’s an attempt to normalize and destigmatize pedophilia. A transgender professor from Old Dominion University has written a book that advocates for the rights of pedophiles, or what she prefers to call “minor-attracted persons.” Conservative commentator Rod Dreher firmly responded to this destigmatization., “Anybody who has lived through the last twenty years knows that sexual identity and the law is a slippery slope. This needs to be crushed right now, without apology.”
