Major League Baseball moved its All-Star Game from Atlanta in response to Georgia’s new election laws. According to President Biden and other Democrats, the new law is “Jim Crow on steroids.” But is it? The new law actually made it easier to vote in Georgia election by expanding the number of voting days. After the MLB boycott was announced, Sen. Rand Paul Tweeted that Republicans should consider a boycott of professional baseball. Paul said “If MLB is boycotting states that pass Republican election integrity laws, maybe Republicans should boycott Major League Baseball?” Sen. Mitch McConnell found it “discouraging to find a bunch of corporate CEOs getting in the middle of politics. My advice to the corporate CEOs of America is to stay out of politics. Don’t pick sides in these big fights.”
