One of the saddest things about the Harvey Weinstein scandal are all the celebrities who admit they knew something of the abuse but did nothing. Silence in such cases is like a green light to a perpetrator. In Weinstein's case, it has gone on for decades and many women have been hurt. Now, in the wake of the fallout, many women are stepping forward and sharing their own stories of harassment and abuse. They're speaking out on social media with the hashtag #MeToo. It's sad to see so many women who've been hurt and they deserve compassion. But besides offering compassion, we need to ask what else can we do? A good one to begin with is: what would you do if you saw a woman being harassed or abused?
