The federal government under the direction of the Biden administration is expanding what it calls privacy protections for Americans who try to get an abortion, but some states are pushing back. 19 Republican attorneys general, including Kentucky’s Daniel Cameron, recently wrote to Health and Human Services Secretary Xavier Becerra. They argued that his department’s policies violate the Supreme Court’s Dobbs decision. That ruling allows each state to make a policy on abortion. Planned Parenthood has accused Cameron of trying “to scare patients out of obtaining abortions.” But by limiting abortion access, Cameron isn’t harming desperate Kentuckians; he’s looking out for the most vulnerable. Abortion ends the life of another human being, contrary to pro-abortion propaganda that says otherwise.
