The elections are behind us and many of you are probably very glad since your no longer subjected to negative ads. Regardless of how your favored candidates did it's important to be reminded that election aren't everything. They're important, yes. Good leaders and good laws are important too but our lives shouldn't revolve around politics and the party that's in political power. We have families to nurture, jobs to do, communities to engage and church families to worship with. In fact, doing well in each of these areas has more potential to shape us, our families and our communities than any politician in Washington D.C. Remember that our government isn't the source of everything. Rather, government is there to secure our freedom so we can pursue our God-given callings in life.
