A bill banning abortions after 11 weeks is close to becoming law in Kentucky. It says "a human being is entitled to receive ethical and humane treatment and is to be respected and valued in all phases of life." The law is difficult to read as it describes in detail language that abortion method that is gruesome.  One of the strongest arguments against the bill is that it's going to be challenged in court and end up costing the state thousands in legal fees. Pro-lifers contend that if an unborn child is indeed a human life deserving of legal protection, then it doesn't matter how much the defense of the legislation will cost. What's even more costly is for a humane society to accept flimsy rhetoric which elevates a so-called choice over vulnerable human life.
