The Super PAC calling itself Kentucky Family Values has run some vicious ads against Republican candidates. Demeaning a political opponent is not a Kentucky value. Nor is a hefty chunk of the money used to fund the ads from Kentucky. According to a recent election finance report, James Wilkes, Tampa, Fla., and Timothy McHugh, Rolling Hills, Califormia, of the law firm Wilkes & McHugh, donated $25,000 to Democratic SuperPAC Kentucky Family Values. They donated another $25,000 state House candidates (mostly Democrats).
