Do you remember Jack Phillips? He’s the Colorado baker who successfully defended his right to not bake a same-sex wedding cake before the U.S. Supreme Court. Well, Phillips has been targeted once again by LGBT activists and is in court once again. This time he refused to create a cake for a “gender transition” celebration. Phillips believed that using his artistic talents and creating messages that violate his conscience isn’t right before God, so he refused to bake it. However, a Colorado state court disagreed and ruled that he discriminated against the transgender individual. The court failed to see the difference between discrimination and the rights of conscience. The case may go back to the Supreme Court where hopefully they’ll see that targeted attacks against conscience by LGBT activists are wrong in any context.
