Indiana lawmakers defunded the Kinsey Institute. This is big news because the Kinsey Institute, based out of Indiana University, did sex research that ushered in the sexual revolution of the 1960s. And what they did behind closed doors was morally reprehensible, experimenting on infants and young children which normalized deviant sexual activity—all done under the name of research. The subversion of moral boundaries and legacy of gross immorality led the Indiana legislature and Governor Eric Holcomb to pass a law that would end public funding for the Kinsey Institute. It’s a victory not just for the state of Indiana, but a victory for the nation and basic moral decency regarding the protection of children. Kudos to Indiana for pulling public funds from controversial programs that contribute to brokenness.
