General Motors is known for building quality cars. But who would have guessed that they’re furnishing LGBTQ curriculum in America’s public schools? According to a 2021 Social Impact Report, the automotive company donated to a “rainbow library” program for GLSEN, which promotes homosexuality and transgenderism in public schools. This includes books like “Gender Queer,” which is filled with sexually explicit and obscene content. While GM didn’t say how much money was donated, they reported $86.7 million in donations to nonprofits last year. But what does any of this have to do with cars? Buying a car should be a neutral space where customers don’t have to worry about supporting political causes. But GM has made it clear that when you drive off in one of their new cars, you’re also funding LGBTQ activism.
