Early voting begins today! There are many candidates to choose from, but what should we look for in a leader? The great leader of Israel Moses was told by Jethro to “select capable men from all the people—men who fear God, trustworthy men who hate dishonest gain—and appoint them… to serve as judges for the people at all times (Exodus 18:21-22). It’s ancient advice but its still relevant today. If we hope to maintain our freedom, we have a duty to vote. But we must vote for men and women of integrity and character, which is rooted in the fear of God.
