After the leaked Supreme Court draft that appears to overturn Roe v Wade, abortion extremists are now intimidating Supreme Court justices that are pro-life. The group Ruth Sent Us published addresses of the justices and are calling for people to protest in their neighborhoods. It’s clearly an attempt to intimidate the judges before they hand down a final ruling. While we have a First Amendment right to assemble and protest our government, there’s a fine line between that and harassment. In fact, U.S. Code 18 U.S.C. 1507 prohibits the harassment of federal judges in their homes with the “intent of influencing any judge, juror, witness, or court officer…[those found guilty could] face a fine or imprisonment of one year.”
