A recent Washington Post article follows a 19-year-old couple who were prevented from getting an abortion by a Texas heartbeat law. What should have been a hopeful story about parents caring for their children is twisted by mainstream media’s pro-abortion bias. The reporter implies that choosing life may not have been the best choice, citing a study arguing “that women who are denied abortions experience worse financial, health and family outcomes than those who are able to end their pregnancies.” Abortion, not life, is portrayed as compassionate and reasonable. But this is a family: Billy and Brooke High and their daughters Olivia and Kendall. Despite their struggles, these parents chose life and gave their children a home. And they should be praised and supported.
