The question of leadership in the 2018 General Assembly is real. So what makes for a good leader? It begins with character. Honesty and integrity are at the core. Good leaders are kind, courageous and faithful. And they live by the Golden Rule. Good leadership is also about trust. And without virtue and integrity there can be no trust. In recent months, we've seen what immorality looks like. And we've seen what it does to leaders. In light of this, there seems to be public demand for higher standards, leaders who have a moral compass and act rightly. Maybe we're taking a turn for the better. The next election will tell us more.
