(Frankfort, KY) – The Commonwealth Policy Center is pleased that State Senator Robby Mills (R-Henderson) was selected by Daniel Cameron as his running mate for Lieutenant Governor. Mills, the only candidate on the ballot from West Kentucky, is an effective conservative legislator who has shepherded significant legislation, including the 2022 Fairness in Women’s Sports Act. That bill protects female athletes from being forced to compete against biological males. Mills has served in the legislature since 2016 as both state representative and senator.

According to CPC Executive Director Richard Nelson, Sen. Mills is a man of integrity, family values, and deep convictions. “Robby is the same individual in his personal life as he is in public,” Nelson said. “He’s held fast to conservative ideals, moving those ideals forward while in office. Whether it’s protecting religious freedom, the sanctity of human life, or lowering taxes, Sen. Mills has delivered for Kentuckians.”

Mills and his wife Vickie successfully ran Nu-Look Cleaners, a dry cleaning business located in three cities. “He knows what it’s like to run a successful business and make a payroll,” Nelson said. “Mills truly wants other Kentuckians to have the same opportunity and success. Sen. Mills work ethic is second to none,” Nelson said. “I could not be more pleased with him on the ballot as he devotes his time to making Kentucky a better place for everyone.”
