The election is two weeks from today and there's a lot of talk about a blue wave sweeping the nation. It's typical for the party outside of the White House to pick up Congressional seats in a mid-term election but it's no guarantee that'll happen in Kentucky. Consider that since Matt Bevin was elected governor, there have been 150,000 new Republican registrations. There have been only 6000 Democratic registrations in the same time. Analysts say the national Democratic party, policies on abortion, immigration, and big government have driven conservative democrats into the arms of the GOP which favors pro-life, border security and a free market.  Whether it’s a blue or red wave, it would be refreshing to see Americans on both sides of the aisle come together after the election in a red and blue wave of patriotism.
