Pres. Joe Biden told a group of teachers at a White House ceremony: “You have heard me say it many times about our children, but it is true, they’re all our children. And the reason you are the teachers of the year is because you recognize that. They’re not somebody else’s children. They’re like yours when they’re in the classroom.” Biden’s statements are causing a stir, especially as several classrooms have become increasingly politicized with transgender ideology and critical race theory being pushed on younger and younger kids. Parents are clearly becoming more concerned about what’s being taught in schools. If Democrats double down on Biden’s thinking, they’ll likely find themselves on the losing side of the mid-term elections, just as Democratic gubernatorial hopeful Terry McAuliffe did in Virginia’s governor’s race last year.
