Now that Christmas is behind us we look forward to celebrating a new year. Many of us will make resolutions, gather with family and friends to usher in the new year, and hope for better things to come in 2021. We all long for an end to the deadly coronavirus and the suffering it has brought. We desire health, prosperity, and peace. And in a sense, just a few days ago we celebrated a downpayment on these things with Christ’s coming. The reason why Jesus came was to take away our sins and to bring us into relationship with Him. He came to restore the things that are broken in this world and make all things new. And He bids you to follow him. If you haven’t done so, he invites you into relationship with him. And what better way could you start the new year than by doing that?
