There’s lots of pain and suffering, anger and bitterness I see all around. I have friends and co-workers suffering from Covid. I know pastors who are losing congregants in this latest wave. Much anger is directed toward our political leaders. Some are calling Covid a government conspiracy in order to obtain greater control over the populace. I’ve recently taken two calls from angry Kentuckians who are convinced Covid is some kind of a made-up crisis. Social media, unfortunately, isn’t a helpful catharsis in a time of crisis. As a citizen of the commonwealth, I encourage you to be measured in your response to Covid. Can I encourage you to be a force for good and healing? Please pray for our leaders. Lawmakers, pastors, and school board members all need your prayers.
