Kids are heading back to school this week. Many aren't looking forward to it but we need to remind them why it’s important. It's because they're given minds to cultivate and we want them to develop their gifts and talents so they can successfully live in this world.   School is also where the true, the good and the beautiful are imparted. It's where values are passed down. Abraham Lincoln once said that “the philosophy of the school room in one generation will be the philosophy of government in the next.” We should be concerned about what is taught in our schools because it will eventually impact all of us. Pray for your kids and that they will embrace the good and the true. And pray for their teachers because, so much is riding on their success.
